We are hiring a research associate to coordinate research operations for two related studies evaluating the impact of an innovative housing model on domestic violence survivors’ long-term safety, housing stability and well-being. This is a 1 year position, beginning January,2018. Under the direct supervision of the principal investigator, typical duties include, but are not limited to: overseeing data collection and management; data analyses; writing and dissemination.
The successful applicant must have a PhD in Psychology, Human Development & Family Studies, or a related field, or be within two months of obtaining a PhD. They must also have experience engaging in community-based research, and collecting data from domestic violence survivors. Must have an extremely flexible schedule and be willing to travel. Must have experience training and supervising others. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must have experience working with diverse populations, especially Latin populations. Must be able to demonstrate multicultural competency. Must be 100% fluent in English and Spanish.
Working knowledge of the DV Housing First model that is being evaluated.
